Sincere Friendship

"My time on the exec board and chapter leadership team of OH lambda has been a constant reminder of sincere friendship. I have met so many hardworking, dedicated, and passionate sisters who I wouldn’t have had the chance to spend time with otherwise, and am so grateful to have worked with them and laughed with them. Our post-exec hang outs and the time we’ve spent getting to know each other means the world to me, and I can’t wait to spend my senior year nurturing these relationships"

Philanthropic Service to Others

"I chose pi phi because of their philanthropic services read lead achieve. Helping people is one thing but to be able to help change a kids future is something that really spoke with me. I love going to the book bank with my sisters and being able to connect with them while serving a purpose. I love being able to share the power of reading to kids with my lifelong sisters. "

Integrity

"When I think of Pi Phi as a whole, genuinity is a word that easily comes to mind. Not only do we all value Integrity and try our best to be true to ourselves, but we also help each other to do the same. I can say in full confidence that no matter the issue, I know I can talk to any one of my sisters about it and they will give a truthful and genuine response. When giving advice, it can be hard to say what people need to hear, but also be sensitive and mindful of their feelings, which my sisters do effortlessly, upholding the value of Integrity. We have created a safe, honest, and genuine environment in Pi Phi, encouraging everyone to be their best selves."

Lifelong Commitment

"Some of my best Pi Phi memories have included my conversations with members of the Pi Phi alumni clubs in Cleveland during trips to the book bank. It’s such an incredible feeling to talk about rituals like our Cookie Shine and other traditions we share, despite just having met that day. I also love being able to see our chapter alum return for events like Big/Little Reveal and our Alumni BBQ in the fall. Through these events I was able to see my great-great grand big again, and meet other amazing Pi Phis who came before me."

Honor and Respect

"Respecting and encouraging our sisters to meet their goals and exceed expectations is a vital part of our sisterhood. I experienced this value firsthand during my very first chapter meeting. Watching my fellow sisters recognize and celebrate each other's academic and personal success was empowering. I am excited to carry forth this value with my position and recognize my sisters efforts in the upcoming semesters."

Personal and Intellectual Growth

"One of my favorite values is personal and intellectual growth. Joining pi phi in my freshman year was one of the most impactful decisions I've made that I know will shape the rest of my college career. my sisters taught me what it means to balance everything in order to thrive academically, socially, and mentally- even in the midst of how busy college can get. from study dates to self-care to fun Pham hangouts we always inspire and support each other. I already see how I've changed from when I first joined pi phi, as well as how my sisters around me have grown. "
